Whitetail Deer are very plentiful around the Bighorn Mountains region.

Mountain Wildflowers
The many parks in the
Bighorn National Forest are covered with a beautiful blanket of white, yellow and blue
wildflowers each spring and early summer.
Willow Lake
There are over 200 lakes
in the Bighorn Mountains and Bighorn National Forest. Willow Lake is about a 2 1/2 hour
hike from the Circle Park Trailhead west of Buffalo, Wyoming. There are several
other lakes in the same area as Willow Lake including Sherd Lake, Long Lake, Ringbone Lake
and Romeo Lake.
Romeo
Lake
One of the author's
favorite lakes. Romeo Lake is about a 1 1/2 hour hike from the Circle Park Trailhead
west of Buffalo, Wyoming. There are several other lakes in the same area as Willow
Lake including Sherd Lake, Long Lake, Ringbone Lake and Willow Lake.
